I read a book the other day by an author whose other 11 books in a different series -I loved. So I thought- ok I’ll read this one. There’s some crossover. It was such a “bodice ripper” and I was so uncomfortable… the female author used the example of how you tame a falcon- depriving it of sensations, (hood over her head) showing affection then denying affection- pushing limits and then backing off… complete mental/emotional abuse as well as consent violations… and this was the first in a series- which obviously I won’t Be reading… UGH
